Unexplained radio signals from Space
Fast Radio Burst is high energy astrophysical phenomenon of unknown origin manifestation. Duncan Lorimer and his student David Narkavic discovered it in 2007, when they were looking through archival pulsar survey data. The pulses lasted only few milliseconds. Since it was discovered by Lorimer, the first fast radio burst is also referred to as the Lorimer Burst FRB 010724.
The FRB has occurred 18 times since 2007, so it’s hard to say with any confidence what causes them. FRB 121102 is the only repeated such phenomenon which helped scientists to pinpoint the location of the source. Researchers and scientists wishes to see more of the repeated FRB so that they can make more discoveries.
After a decade of bewilderment, astronomers have pinpointed the source of the radio waves coming from deep outside the Milky Way: a dwarf galaxy located 3 billion light years from Earth. They have thought to come from extremely bright source. It’s also possible FRBs are caused by a combination of things, or by something else that nobody’s thought of yet.
There are lots of blanks. They are questions that needs to be answers and nobody has proven anything so the source can be anything. Things that could widen the knowledge of different phenomenon in space. Things that could help making more discoveries to help mankind. Or maybe not things but living things, that can help us or destroy us.
