MIUI 8 is finally available officially for Xiaomi phones. After several months of beta testing, today, MIUI 8 Released. Which phones will get it? Well, we’ll be discussing it in the post. The Xiaomi phones will be getting an OTA update through which stable ROM is being rolled out.
MIUI (MI User Interface) is a user interface developed by Xiaomi tech. The first MIUI ROM started getting used from Android 2.2 Froyo phones. The first phones with MIUI got the changes in basic layout and enhancement of apps. It brought changes in the basic framework in the apps Notes, Backup, Music, and Gallery. Since then, MIUI has been evolving and bringing the awesome user interface and making out smartphones usage smoother.

MIUI 8 comes up with following new features:
The new MIUI comes up with the new cloud sync feature. Mainly, the photo gallery is getting benefitted by cloud sync. The high sized photos will automatically get synced to cloud storage.
Quick Ball/Suspension Ball:
This is the new feature for Xiaomi phones that will give quick access to some important functions. This is somehow similar to Apple’s assistive touch.
This feature will let you have a dual access to any app running on a smartphone. For example, you’ll be able to two WhatsApp accounts simultaneously on a single WhatsApp app.
Generally, a screenshot captures only the visible part of the screen of the phone. But with this new feature, you’ll be able to capture the entire content of the page without having to scroll it.
The calculator app has been redesigned. Besides the simple mathematical calculations, the calculator app now comes with basic conversions as well such as temperature, weight, and currency.
The notes app comes up with the new Memo template feature. It has been redesigned with the grid view. You can set a password or even add a fingerprint access for more security.
MIUI 8 has released with lots of expectations. We’ll have to wait to see how the customer experience will go with this new MIUI.
